Charms:

Good morning Class!

Continueing with our lessons on household appilances, I would like to introduce our next charm.

What you see in front of you is the hair dryer.

Most of you should know what the hair dryer is, which will be part of your homework.

Now, I know I have trouble with hair dryers sometimes, getting to hot, so this charm will help the hair dryer to be just the right temperature so as not to hurt your hair, but to dry it quickly.

Now, I want you to recite the following charm, "heatarama". When this charm is aimed at the hair dryer before it is used, when turned on, it will give off a heat approximately room temperature.

Now that you have learned that charm, practice on your own. The charm will only last as long as the hair dryer is on, not longer, resulting in you having to do the charm each time you turn it on, obviously.

Now for your homework! This ought to be fun for you if you like your imagination, if not, I allow you to groan in unison...right...now...

Okay, that is over with, on to the homework!

I would like you to write a short essay on an experience you've had where the hair dryer burned your hair or ecetra. If you have not had an expreience like such, pretend and think one up. Then, I want you to pretend you were in that same situation again, I want you to decide whether or not you would use the charm or not. You do not have to, it is your decision.

You're dismissed.
