Hmm... I see that many of you do not appreciate the studies that follow Muggles, but no matter, you'll have to listen to me anyway.
Music. Something that both Wizards, Witches and Muggles all enjoy and keep close to their hearts. Even if you will not admit, I know that you have a special song that makes you think of a good or bad memory and fantasy. Although the music business is quite large in this world, it is even bigger in the Muggle world. Some people even worship their music idols. They have a variety of artists, ranging from the ever so popular one hit wonders to the grungy sounds of teenage garage bands.
Mind the Gap is the perfect example of troubled teen stars letting their hearts out through lyrics and guitar riffs. Based in Toronto, they are not well known even though their lead singer, Jake Epstein, has gained popularity by playing Craig Manning in the popular teen drama show Degrassi: The Next Generation.
Pop princesses make some of the biggest impacts on todays youth, and usually not by their music talents. Popular artist that would fall under this category would be Britney Spears, whos been on the pop scene since the age of 16. Christina Aguilera is a more recent example, a women that claims to have had 11 peircings done to her body yet the most controversial princess yet would be the queen Madonna who has been fighting her way to the top for over 20 years.
As good as they all may seem, even the Muggle world has their share of singing sensation freaks. Take Michael Jackson for example. The man was on his way to becoming one of the biggest, well respected sex idols of the millenium. But things changed and its not so clear why.
